Thought I'd forgotten about this, eh?
Okay, I did scrap it for like a year, but I didn't get rid of it altogether.

(apparently Raikyo had troubles with that link, if that doesn't work, try this, otherwise ring me)

Boo Escape 2 is a .. minigame where you dodge Boos. Simple? Not as easy as it sounds. Features 5 modes (and one WIP) of gameplay, including racing the clock, and the good ol' Boo Escape 1 too! (click mouse to shoot)

My horribly glitchy highscore table (no, yours won't be as messed up as mine)

Download!

Changelog from the 1-year-old demo: (whatever I can think of right now, that is)
- Bullets
- Unlockables (not functional at the moment, hence everything is unlocked)
- More modes (KB Kontrol, BE Classic, and the Secret~)
- Fixed Clock Panic and Time Attack
- Legal notice doesn't bug you all the time (appears only once)
- Switched positions of the menu items due to unlockability of some
- Ability to clear highscore table (delete/rename boo_escape2.sav, press delete on restored legal notice)
- Boo goes slower as health drops
- Redesigned timer button on titlescreen
- Bugfixes
- Etc.

Known bugs:
- If you get a low score and you have a ton of time remaining on Clock Panic, and you die, your score will be negative. Forgot to fix this.

It's rather easy to use external tool to modify the score to 999999. So.. Yeah.

profit = md5(score + secret_salt)

EDIT: actually i guess that can't work in gm since someone could just decompile your game

Those would be determined cheaters if they decompiled just for that.

The game itself is definitely better than the last demo, but I think there should be more of a consequence when upside-down.

Thanks, but I don't exactly know what I could do when the Boo is upside down. I mean, KB Kontrol becomes inverted, the HUD etc is upside down, what CAN I add?
