Once upon a merry Christmas there was a young armidillo named Dylan.  Dylan was your typical anthromophic armidillo, running around with the arrow keys, rolling with the down arrow key, and jumping to and fro with the Shift key.  Basically, Dylan was a perfectly cheerful armidillio.  But two things separated Dylan from the rest: he liked chocolate and he liked lava.
Santa Claus knew Dylan was a boy of virtue, so for a Christmas gift he set up a fun-filled obstacle course in an active volcano for Dylan to master!  He left this note for Dylan:


"Ho ho ho!

Merry Christmas Dylan!  I've constructed an obstacle course in a volcano just for you on this very merry Christmas day!  Yay!  Scattered inside are M&M's, the chocolate candy that melts in your mouth, not in your hand (or in a volcano for that matter!).  I hope you aren't deathly allergic to peanuts, because they're peanut M&M's.

I've got my little elf spies in there chalking down your every move.  They'll award points to you based on how much and what kind of M&M's you get!  Memorize this chart; it's what they'll be using to judge you! Ho ho ho!"

Red M&M:  50 Points
Green M&M:  100 Points
Blue M&M:  200 Points

Also be sure to keep and eye out for my special point-multiplying ornaments hanging about!  Just smash one from underneath and everything you pick up will be worth twice the points for a short amount of time!  You'll know the bonus time is over whenever you hear a sound chime.

There are two playing difficulties.  In Easy Mode you are free to move about at your liesure, nevermind the hot lava rising from beneath you.  In Hard Mode, however, you must rise with the lava.  Quite challenging indeed, but you get an extra 5000 points at the end for your efforts!


Translation: Dylan typo'd his love of Java coffee and sent it to Santa, who prompted to abduct him, throw him into a volcano full of M&Ms and leave him to escape.
