Off topic sorta but I just ordered chinese food and when we were standing there paying for the bill the lady turned around and screamed something in chinese and then gave us a dirty look. "Yeah she was totally talking about us." "Nah uh. She was screaming our order." "Thats what she wants you to think...." I feel like that, only I dont' know what's going on. haha. Whats a cookie cutter RPG? I can assure you that there will be no cookie cutting in my game! Unless its a Yoshi Cookie to the face.

Any help with rips would be greatly appreciated. I have kinda stopped ripping for now and focused more on programming and scripting. I would use anything that you would want to contribute.  I will upload my Tileset that I am using right now and you can see what I have and what I don't. The tileset will show you everything except the autotiles ( the water, the grass, the shrubbery ect.) Like I said, I started this topic for support and ideas that people want to see put into the game to make it better. thanks to anyone who contributes. @Im4everkool Thanks. I have no idea what I was thinking. Retard moment.  EDIT: For some reason I can't find a way to get it to be scaled correctly on an upload website. lol Just my luck for using a huge tileset. The Demo I make will comprise of an opening action sequence similar to that of Super Mario RPG's. Where it shows all the characters and what they do. And then the beginning of the game up to a certain point. I am thinking of making the game in chapters and uploading A chapter at a time where your save file is compatible with the new version. Though this is still just a thought. Not sure yet. I guess I should wait for some feedback after the demo and see if anyone is interested in it. The problem that I know I will face... is the Music Size. I'm too stubborn to use Midi's for this project so my MP3's are... hulking. I may have to put them as a separate File that will be compatible with all versions of the game. Though, again, this is purely an idea. Absolutely. I've stopped the main scripting aspect for right now to work on an interactive demo that will show some game features as well as let you see the beginning of the game. Expect a Demo around the middle of the week.  Promise.

Since Paper Mario was named the way it was (and the fact it had NOTHING to do with the Super Mario RPG universe) I have decided to name my game MarioRPG2 because of the fact that it will be direct sequel. Well. The Water is the same water that is used throughout the whole game. The good thing is that I can change the look of it whenever I want to and it will change it for the rest of the game as well. But that is a very good idea. It would make sense for the water to be a different color on the Map Screen to match Tadpole Pond. However due to the fact that it is an animated Autotile it is not as simple as putting it in paint and changing the color. I'll either have to rip a new kind of water (which i was planning on doing in the future) or just make a STILL water (which to me is very boring. Why have water just SIT there when it can move and be pretty.  ) But I see where you are coming from definitely. Now that I know someone else has noticed I will put some priority into ripping the water from Super Mario RPG. Yes. This has been bothering me for a while. Then I kinda just got used to it and rejoiced because the battle system was playing so well. But thank you for reminding me to fix it. I've also been having some fun re-mastering the tracks from the game.  I've gotten alot of inspiration from arranged tracks I've found throughout the internet. Hope all is going well with everyone, and thank you for your input.

Gah. Well. The Demo is ready and complete. Which took me freakin forever to create a stand alone demo - and then I get home to find out that my internet is OUT! So I am on slow a** dial up (excuse my elegant french) and I am unable to upload the 45 MB file. !@@#%$@#%$@#^%$~~!!!! I will either drive to a hotspot tomorrow or wait for the internet to come back. I will upload new screens tomorrow as well as some other things I think people will find useful.  Promise the demo is coming soon. Thanks.
