Super Mario RPG2: Legend of the Solar Soothsayer, Demo being released today.

Demo Release today. Sorry for the wait.
But I saw that someone is trying to have someone make an Engine for them to make their own Super Mario RPG2 game... and I found it slightly offensive considering i've been scripting and going crazy for the past FOREVER trying to make a good game.

Demo will be posted in the main link once its done uploading.
I'm posting right now just to let people know. lol

As far a I´m concerned, this project will definately be worthwhile.

I'm REEEALLY lookin' forward to the dramatic reappearance of Geno, because he's my favorite Mario character of ALL TIME! (Why the hell did you think I named myself GENOgenesis7, huh?) Well, anyways, I hope he appears in some sort of dramatic way. And make Mario happy about his return.

Maybe you could recieve a Geno Doll from beating one of the bosses and as Mario holds it up over his head, it becomes hot to the touch ("HACHACHACHA!!") and he drops it, causing Geno to posess the doll in a beam of light.

But I really am unable to play the demo, so if you've already figured a way for Geno to appear, that's your deal.

Well anyone who knows me would know i'm a fan of the M&L Graphic style and this looks very well put together, so i'll definitely give this a download. I'll edit this post with thoughts when I get the chance.

Edit: Missing the dll and can't be bothered to find it. I will say though that Mp3 music files take up TOO much space. This is a pretty massive filesize.

Sorry that i've been away for so long. Rehearsals and work have been eating my time away. But yeah.. I just realized that i kinda left out a LOT of important information such as ... controls and all that ****. Hahaha.


Well first things first... You need to have the Rpg Maker XP RTP installed on your computer. - Google is your friend.

Next - the control scheme... was designed for a controller set up with XPADDER> for those of you who do not know what xpadder is... Google is your friend.


The control scheme.. is basically UNUSER friendly unless you have a controller. I am absolutely SORRY about this... But.. There is basically nothing I can do...

Okay I lied. There is.. but I don't really feel coding it.

The controls are this.

SPACE - Action Key
Q - Jump
W- Secondary Move
A - Cant ****ing remember. It does somethign
S - Switch Party member on field
D - The Switch Party screen.

Hold down the action key to run.


Okay.. OHHH YES!!! ANOTHER THING that I convieniently forgot to mention.. and what really sucks.
You need the MarioRPG font installed onto your computer to read the text.

....oops.


I believe you can find it in the project folder... if not... Google is your friend. Just make sure you have a font installed called MARIORPG

AND - the Music files. sorry they are so big.. but i absollutely HATE Midi files now.

And.. a dramatic reappearance of Geno. HELL yes. Of course there will be. For Geno is also my favorite character.

HOwever ... Geno is not in the first two hours of gameplay.. there fore he is not in the demo.
Bummer.

Holy **** 90 MB! Still downloding anyway, I've been looking forward to a real SMRPG sequel, and this looks very cool.
