super mario kingdoms, screenshots soon

this game is going to be an RPG with a dark theme.

the game begins just after total war is declared on the koopas.
as they engage in battle a new threaght rears its ugly head,
Now the mushroom kingdom and the koopa kingdom are at risk of both being destroyed,
unless Mario and Luigi can find some way to stop it,
they are going to need all the help they can get for this adventure.
they may even enlist the aide a few frends as well as enemys for a sertain tournement to aide in this quest..

Actually, if you made BOWSER queen, just maybe...

Erm, in all seriousness and stuff, I'm not totally happy with the idea. I've seen many times people taking Mario and such related and making it dark and evil...and it usually hasn't ended to well. I'm sure it will be a neat game, but it just doesn't appeal to me.

As I read your plans, you don't seem to want to make it totally sick and violent though, yuo just want it to be more SMRPGish, so that's good. I wish ye luck on your project, and can't wait to see your progress =P

I wouldn't mind a fangame where everythign is a lot darker than it is normally.

I can see Mario with a dark theme, but bring in Kirby, and that's just... . Poor Kirby is supposed to be happy and jolly!

I read it.....And I thought I heard you say a war against Koopas. Do you have this whole thing planned out or do you need more characters? *Points to sig* Heh.

Anyway.....it doesn't sound half bad.

You might want to improve your spelling and grammar first... I ain't playing a game where NPCs talk the same like you do at the moment.
