I like HL1 better than HL2, but the outdated graphics make me cringe.

I'll be looking forward to Black Mesa.

You probably already knew this but: there's a high-def pack which is free to download off Steam if that helps.

Only thing I don't like about it is the Beretta replacement for the Glock and the M16 for the MP5.

nah, trolling aside, they've pinned down "2009" in the latest trailer and all of the devs have been given a deadline by the project lead. Whoever doesn't deliver gets dropped from the project and replaced by either someone looking to join the team or an already existing dev.
