Just a small update to say i've done Bowser's card choosing, now it's just a matter of coding the long, boring process that is which card destroys which etc. It'll take a while =/

Ok well in this screen you can see how far I am. I've just played a lvl1 Water card and Bowser's played a lvl3 Water card, and since his beats mine in terms of score, mine's about to explode and he's about to attack. I'm going to have it so if you choose the same element, the higher level card will win BUT it'll only do 1 point of damage regardless. I've got that kind of thing all worked out.

Switch the cards round, so yours show the number when in the deck(?).
I can only see the element and creature, not the number.

The card flips out of the deck when you're choosing which one to play, but yeah I probably could do that =P Thanks.

Pretty much got attacks all working, just got 1 or 2 more to do then this minigame is basically done! Been one of the biggest ones i've worked on in a while.

Thanks. A small update, after a bit of work i've basically finished the above card minigame, everything works, added text etc, so it's all good. Now to get back to some of the others, still needing ideas and such though so if anyone wants to offer one up, shout out now.

Will hopefully have details on other things in the near future.

Working on a new game, Spring Tower, basically I took liberties from the current minigame competition to use a different method of getting around. Bouncing. You can't stop bouncing, and you have to climb a tower avoiding obstacles and reaching the top. Faster you can do it, the more coins, at least that's the plan.

It'll have obstacles like wind which pushes you around, enemies or springs that'll bounce you around, and moving platforms that you have to try stay on so you don't fall. Other things might be randomly placed platforms or enemies so it's not always the same, and maybe a few goodies here and there.

Oh, my, this game looks so awesome. I really need to play this when it's done. I especially like the boss battles. Perhaps you can do a battle with the regular Cackletta? She could have a cursor that follows you, and if it touches you, she strikes you with lightning. And maybe you'd have to hit her with a Bob-omb or something like that? I think that would be cool.

Refined the Shell Stack minigame. It's more fast paced, there's 3 pipes and you have to catch shells before they go down the pipes at the bottom. The more you stack, the slower you go, but you get combo points for dropping off more shells at a drop-off point each side of the stage, increasing your score and chance for a high score.

There'll also be bob-ombs which come from pipes then run at you, but if you have too many shells you can't jump as high so they're harder to dodge. Also the occasional weight will drop from a pipe which will basically obliterate your stack.

I have an idea for a minigame:
Pk Soccer - You have to try to kick four balls into the opponents goal.
Then the opponents get to kick four balls and you have to try to block them.

I have a idea too.bomb-omb-basketball. theres a high pipe sticking out of the ground at the right side, along with some pipes at the top. The pipes at the top drop bomb-ombs, and you gotta pick up and throw the SMB2 style into the high pipe on the ground. BUT, the bombs DO explode at one point, so you must throw them in, and dodge there explosions. When the bombs blow up, the pipes at the top send in MORE bombs. The more bombs you get in the pipe, the more coins you earn.
