But maybe I can do some good with that shiny red icon I have.
Black Squirrel is no longer a dictator (and actually never was), so you should actually be happier than before.
Of course the staff has read through your complaint topics and is about to analyse them.
We're currently busy planning a new direction. And this time it will not be a radical change like you think that this change is.
We have prototypes of a few minor changes that should be able to please the members who want more transparency and get rid of assumptions such as "bias" and "favouritism".
In general there are some things we want to do that are system independent, that would work with the current system, the systems we had before and all systems in the future. With these, it should then be possible to create a more relaxed system in which (almost) everyone should feel alright.
I think I can spoil the first point of our plans at this point:
Before we throw these minor changes at you, we will explain them to you in FULL DETAIL and you are able to discuss them BEFORE we apply them to the boards.
This will also be done for ALL decissions involving members in the future, which is also my first input as admin.Note: Until this is through it might take one or two weeks or longer.
We want to think this and other changes through before acting. We learn from our mistakes. Keep your patience.
You can contact me on AIM or MSN or via PM if you have questions, but understand that we can not disclose detailed answers at this point.
We do not want to disappoint anybody by making promises that we can't keep.
We do however appreciate your input.
I can not promise anything, I hope you trust us, and that this place returning to its old glory. We can not restore the MFGG from 5 years ago, that is impossible due to the lack of members who have grown out of MFGG and now have "more important things to do" and also due to the size difference. We have now a lot more members than 5 years ago, which means a lot more different opinions and a lot of members who grew up with an N64 or even GameCube as opposed to us oldbies who enjoyed their NES or SNES (or Megadrive, BS).
But we hope that what we come up with in the future will make you glad to be here and your time spent in this place not go to waste.
No graphs, no statistics.
Take this as a sign of the staff taking your concerns seriously.
