I was never a mod. I was site staff, and I got the shaft because of some prank call Kitsune got.

Seriously though, this is the second thing to happen without warning and that not everyone had agreed on. I can't wait to see what the third thing is, I hope it can top these two!

I didn't invent Invision Power Board. Invision Power Board was invented by what is now known as Invision Power Services Inc. IPB has many default options and the root admins group is one of them!

The root admin thing was not my idea at all - following that ACCOUNT THAT DISAPPEARED, Techokami put me in the root admins group so as to see if the account's deletion had been logged. It hadn't, which means a glitch has been discovered and steps can be taken to like, fix it. That group had to be re-made manually, which is something I probably couldn't do either, so perhaps some more research is needed before baseless accusations!

This is a prime example of what is wrong with this community - instantly jumping on the idea that I would "bump myself up for personal gain". That is awful, and quite frankly, you should feel ashamed that this is the first thing you come to when you see something like that. I find it insulting that people think that this is how I would behave at a time like this. I can understand people not liking me for whatever reason but I'm not that low, or stupid, and it just goes to show that nobody listens to a damned word I said about the whole mods and admins votes are equal if you think it would have made a difference to the way this forum is run.

Coincidentally I thought the reason why there were no root admins was because of Yoshiman's PM stuffs, Techokami assured me otherwise and said it dated back to when Kritter deleted himself, and I believed him because he's often in the know with these things and has been around longer than me. That is not a crime, it is a simple mistake.

I can't wait to hear what I've done next!

Huh, I dunno what else would have come to mind really. No one was told anything, so of course people are going to assume.

Jas and I were root admins - all admins were root admins with access to the SQL databases on the forum.

RII eliminated this group after my PM Scandal to ensure no admin would have access to the databases so that MFGG would not get such a conflict again.


even if Techo fed you information like "oh, no, we haven't had root admins ever since the days of Kritter deleting himself" which you took to believe is true on his behalf, that is still a mistake on your end, yes - same kind of mistake i did, only this was initiated not by curiosity, but by the assistance of someone else

You should all be ashamed trying to piece this together, you should've just nodded and went along with it no matter what the case.

You make it sound like it's some sort of mystery!

Also BS needs to decide if he's the victim or the hero or the god-knows-what. I'm sick of him changing attitudes every other post. Pick a consistent tone and stick with it.

BS the issue isn't root admin being a conspiracy, it's the following.

1) no mods were informed, except for techo, allegedly.
2) rii specifically said nobody is allowed to be in that group.

OK, false alarm guys.
BS is back to "not-root" admin status and his reasoning sounds plausible enough for me. I hope it sounds plausible enough for you too.
It doesn't justify anything, but at least you should now be able to understand.

And admittedly it was a really foolish move at this time. >_>
Regardless of how foolish it was, it wasn't evil, so yeah. Can we live with it? I can.

Update News

- Fixed Jarate going through pre-round doors
- Removed the Root Admin class due to being overpowered
- Fixed rare bug where Teleporters warped players inside of the map geometry causing them to be unable to move

Two things I would like to know first:

• From a third-party (i.e. other than Techokami or BS), exactly when BS was granted root admin powers?
• Why BS would request and/or receive root admin powers without telling anybody -- RII especially?

These two inquiries are perhaps most bothersome to me. Especially the latter one, since BS doesn't exactly have what you'd call a good track record when it comes to publicly announcing his decisions and actions.

If anything, the secrecy is self-incriminating enough.

I'm sorry MFGG for keeping a root admin account for longer than needed
