Pokeyman tourney

Would anyone be interested in a normal Pokeman tourney? Hopefully we can get one rolling, and a simple one without any quirks to it would be a nice way to kick it off

we'd probably do it over netbattle, but pbr / actual game is fine too

Both tournaments begin on Friday. Please post which one you are participating in in this thread.

Standard Cup
Level 100
Sleep Clause (No two Pokemon may be kept asleep)

Self-KO Clause (If you use Explosion, Self-Destruct, or Destiny Bond on your last Pokemon, you lose)

Evasion Clause (No Double Team, Sand-Attack, or other moves which ONLY affect evasion or accuracy. Moves with reducing accuracy or evasion as a side effect, like Gravity or Octazooka, are allowed)

No instant KO moves (Sheer Cold, Guillotine, etc)

All of the following Pokemon are banned:
-Mewtwo
-Mew
-Ho-Oh
-Lugia
-Rayquaza
-Groudon
-Kyogre
-Deoxys (All forms)
-Latios
-Latias
-Manaphy
-Darkrai
-Arceus
-Dialga
-Palkia
-Giratina (both forms)
-Shaymin Sky Form
-Wobbuffet / Wynaut

This cup may be handled through Shoddy Battle, Pokemon Battle Revolution, or Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

Little Cup
Level 5
Sleep Clause On
Self-KO Clause On
Usable Pokemon must be the lowest on their evolution chain, must be able to evolve and able to be hatched from an Egg.

Sonicboom and Dragon Rage are banned.
OHKO moves off
Evasion clause

if there aren't any clauses i could actually join in now if it was ingame (and lose first round)

and if there are i'd just replace my dickish ninjask for the moment

I'm all for a NetBattle one

three reasons:
1. More convenient
2. Lost my DS
3. None of my pokemon (legally, anyways) are near the level (levels and ev's) we'd probably be using, so yeah

if we were to do one based on the game alone, we'd probably be using the lv 100 modifier anyway

I'd prefer netbattle

No pokesav and I'm much too lazy to EV train

A problem though, aren't a lot of moves (like U-Turn) glitched in netbattle?

I won't because it isn't playable duplicate random (until I write the software for that).

This is why I was thinking of two tournaments.

True Team and Free Team.

That seems really, really unnessecary. The only advantage to "true team" would be that you'd see the animations, and um, get to use U-turn if we'd be using netbattle or getting to use Stall on sableye (hahaha) if we'd be using shoddybattle. And not everyone likes the animations anyway

anything's fine by me

D/P/P tournament with different tier divisions, such as OU, UU and Uber. No item clause, but everything else applies.

vulpix only, stadium field, no item clause

Sure, but I'd rather use something like netbattle.

Then people will complain about the lack of F.E.A.R. tactics.

Also with the True Team/Free Team thing, everyone gets to either use the online netbattle programs, their real game, or both.
