Wrong.

The standstill mini-turbo is much faster than trying to recover normally, especially with the Flame Runner. This is partially why Acceleration is a useless stat.

Maybe it didn't make much sense to me because I'm a lightweight user, I always have high acceleration stats. Plus, I use the Blue Falcon, which has high speed too. ;D
