So, how's that new Turok?

It didn't come out that long ago(a year maybe). It was after Evolutions so.

Since Turok 1-3 and Rage Wars kicked ass and Evolutions just blew, I'm hoping that the new Turok is pretty good.


Anyone played it yet?

Also some info on the weapons would be great.

The only Turok games I've liked were one for the gameboy and one for the N64.

I forget the names but they were awesome.

I never played the ones on the Gameboy actually. Grew up with them on the N64.


I don't think I've beaten any of them but I played them quite a bit.

Turok 1 and 2 were amazing. 3 was good too, but no where near as good as the first two. Rage Wars was fun because it was mainly multiplayer oriented.

Overall those games have awesome weapons and even better bosses.

Evolutions however, was just a HUGE let down as almost all the weapons sucked, very linear, not challenging, and the bosses were just so stupidly easy, it was depressing.

The multiplayer wasn't very good either. I think there were like 10 maps and no bots, so.

I heard it's not very good


And rather annoying


and half the stuff kills you instantly with very few checkpoints

because for whatever reason I remember getting really frustrated with it

The most recent one was OK but not very Turokish

I always found turok a bit boring for my taste, idk.

I cracked up at the original Turok, I love when you die and get resurrected

oh fine make me look stupid.

But seriously, it's a little slow but causes you to use your head a little more, gets more intense on later levels though.


Way more fun then other FPS's.

Also man, I love how suprised my uncle and my brother was when I owned both of them with the Napalm Cannon(the green explosive weapon).

i played the demo a long time ago and it was ok-ish. I recall the knife being ridiculously overpowered since you could OHKO dinos with it.

and from what i understand there's no crazy weapons like the old games

waaa that sucks. :(
