Yeah the first line of your post really stands out as something completely obvious.

Please read the topic before posting, and if you have any issues after you've taken it all in, i'll be happy to address them in a nice calm way, but don't post in here like you can tell me what to do when you haven't even read half of what we've all said here.

May I ask: is there a difference between a troll and someone who makes a 'troll statement'?

Because I'm finding it really hard to find a basis as to why someone who makes a few 'troll posts' should be punished. Fair enough if you're distinguishing trolls from a person who makes troll posts few and far between, but the way I see it is that if you make a troll post, you're screwed.

Can someone clear up MFGG's plans on cracking down on 'trolls' for me, because this new rule is either brilliant or crappy depending on how and if MFGG distinguishes trolls from other people.

well, considering trolling of any kind is against the rules, you should be screwed anyways

Why is it that someone who maybe steals one thing is arrested? I think they should only be punished for stealing all the time.

It's a sarcastic analogy that applies to show Starman how his logic doesn't make sense.

It's a reference to Starmang's post in which he says that people who troll a little bit should not be punished, only if they troll a lot.

Do we really need to crack down on trolling? I don't see it happening that much and when I do it's either blatantly obvious and everybody gets it straight away, or they don't but it's harmless and funny anyway.

I'm unaware if this place ever had a word post minimum, but maybe that would take care of certain issues (reaction images)?

The limit wouldn't affect that, since the image tags and url would exceed it to begin with.

But this isn't an imageboard, so spamming with reaction images isn't a good idea to begin with.

Seriously, you don't have to agree, but if you honestly can't survive MFGG without going out of your way to piss someone off, you ought to leave. It's been said that this behavior won't be tolerated anymore and characters like you are no longer needed here.
