Well no, that's not what he said. You can generally represent a large population using a normal distribution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_distribution). Where most people flock towards the middle with fewer people towards the extremes.

The median and mean are both in the centre, with half of the population on one side and half on the other. If you take one extreme to be "0% troll" and the other to be "100% troll" then 50% of the population is more "troll" than the median.

Seriously, it's not like you get banned instantly for every little piece of false information you post. Just when it's obvious in the eyes of those who have to judge it that the sole purpose of it is to enrage others.

I wasn't disagreeing with you or anything, I'm just saying that there are lots of people who have different definitions of trolls, so someone may be unaware of the fact that their post is in fact a troll (which is the case in some bans).
