Here's what I got so far: Intro Movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5ZbLe8j-eksome screenshots: and if you watched the intro you know the basics of the story. This game has three party members attainable, Mario, Luigi, and Peach. There will be a total of at least 12 areas including Roboforest (first area) and Bob-Omb Battlefield(2nd area). If you are good at Mario and Luigi style sprite creation and have some new and exciting enemy ideas, they would be much appreciated. Spriting for this project for enemies should be easy as only one direction is needed, a right facing battle sprite. Thanks for checking out my stuff!

| QUOTE (Gh0st @ Jun 24 2009, 11:19 AM) | ...why not just skip Game Maker and move on to a real programming language? To Kabuto: I think RPG Maker's code Ruby-based, why not get a book or two on that and check out the code of the game that you're making with the program. Nothing wrong with starting out with RPG Maker at all.
Although I am sorry to admit that this game does look a bit bland at the moment. It kinda just looks like any RPG game with Mario graphics stuck in (just look at the HUD). Not to mention the level design is empty looking. Maybe I 'll be proven wrong when I play it. |
only XP has Ruby, and I don't have it yet. Once I get XP, there will be some good stuff in there.
Yeah, I haven't finished level design, still need some more tilesets, and thats just a placeholder for the HUD until I make my own good one.

| QUOTE (Gh0st @ Jun 24 2009, 12:26 PM) | Actually, I've never heard an actual Italian do that (most of my Family is Italian), so I don't think that there is an actual protocol for it.
And I see what Marigi means, especially in the video. |
I think it's more of a Stereotype, actually, because Mario is considered Italian, and the "reason" he adds those random Syllables is usually said to be because he is Italian.
