I'm actually enjoying a first person shooter since golden eye.....man this is actually pretty rad! I always thought of first person shooters to be piles of trash, thanks to the overdose of halo and gears and whatnot that my friends constantly play.

Not necessarily.

Half-Life 1 is God Tier of single player FPSs, and Half-Life 2 was still pretty good (even though they got rid of practically everything from 1).
