Halo 3

I've never really touched the halo series, until recently. When the first Halo came out, I was a "nintendo fanboy", and refused to play it. Although I stopped being stupid, I still had yet to play, even after a year of owning a 360. Well recently, my bro borrowed halo 3 from a friend.

Story mode was pretty cool. Levels were a bit bland, and it was a bit too short, with a real lack of enemies. The basic concept of Halo's story is pretty good, but the writing is pretty ****ty.

But the multi-player may be the best I have ever played. I still need xbox live, so I'm only playing 4 player.

How badly do I need online?
Should I buy any map packs, or just wait for ODST?

i mean 1 map pack is free 2 are not. buy the mythic one and play online NOW

I suck. I get like 10 kills a round.

I might have to get the mythic pack, because sandbox looks pretty awesome.

yeah i got halo like 2 days before its release date and i played online EVERY SINGLE DAY i was the best i get MVP like 70% of the games then i got RROD and it took wicked long to get it back THEN when i got it back. my halo 3 was Cracked so i had to wait even longer. i borrowed it from my friend and my skills were still the same (i never get rusty in games) but the whole community changed. everyone went all freaking pro. im like 4th 3rd place on teams now im just saying your proly gonna get owned so hard

I enjoy playing Halo 3.

Campaign is ****-boring, but online is fantastic.

I hate the community and the gameplay mechanics suck IMO. It's just too competitive

I so think that the story is good, the campaign is repetitive, and the music is one of the best I've ever heard in a game.

Not my favorite game, yet good in other ways.

This pretty much describes the halo community to me.



Except most i've seen are even worse at spelling/using actual words


Not that other Fpses are better, i've just noticed that the halo community seems to have a greater amount of such people.

Don't get me wrong, I love Halo. But it has to be the most unbalanced game ever. Oh and I hate the physics but that's changeable so its all cool.

Also I made a 1vsAll Gamemode and a sandbox map for it (Nothing special), **** is cash.

The way I've alwways put it is

Halo: CE had a great Single player and a great multiplayer

Halo 2 had a not so good single player and a great multiplayer

Halo 3 had a fu single player (at least in co-op) and a not so good multiplayer



I wasn't a fan of Halo 3 online nearly as much as the past Halo games. It encouraged battle rifles and MLG game styles way too much and it minimized the amount of larger maps WAY too much. There was like 2 big maps when the game came out, one of which you had to be on Big Team Battle to play, and everything else was just tiny. I loved the variety in Halo 2 which is why I played it for nearly 2 years. Halo 3 was alright, but it barely lasted me a few months.

Buy the other map packs, some of the maps in there are huge.
