Tap Arrows: Move
Z: Punch
X: Spin
C: Meteor
S: Blaze (when green bar is full)

you'll be surprised how little people actually comment

first of all, way too many attacks. They all do the same in the end, so why so many different ones? Not only that, but the control scheme is horrible

second, the game won't qualify for the compo since you hold arrow keys to move in a direction.

the three attacks are actually very different if you know when to use then
the punch can slow down enemies coming straight for you, making it easier for you to get combo points
the spin attack knocks the foe away from you, which it good to direct koopa shells (as they are much harder to direct with the other attacks)
the meteor attack is good when you stand near the top, as it knocks foes down

I made most of the game before he even changed the rules :l
I really think the rules of a comp should not be allowed to be changed after the games have already been made
but if it really matters I can change the way you move

he didn't change the rules, he just elaborated. It was stated from the beginning that linear movements by simply holding a button weren't allowed.
