too bad alakazam has ****ing awful type coverage now thanks to the physical and special split removing his elemental punches and leaving him with almost nothing

starmie has all kinds of useful moves that can cover nearly every type

gengar has much better SpA, but lacks as good of type coverage as starmie and is outsped by starmie, which can lead to him being taken out by hydro pump or something unless he's invested in some special defense for some reason
