you do realize that magnezone is ****ing awesome for dealing with all annoying steel pokemon such as scizor in general, right

wouldn't scizor just rape it with earthquake before it got the floating move off

Choice scarf (which is a lot more common than sets with magnet rise), Scizor doesn't even get a chance to escape and can only attack with a 4x resisted bullet punch

(also scizor doesn't learn earthquake)

also 216 Speed EVs on a timid magnezone outruns scizor

... Scizor can't learn Earthquake? I swear it could. What does it actually sweep with then? Not having earthquake kinda sucks big time

Choice scarf is the 1.5x speed one? I thought Scizors was decent with swords dance + aerial ace and that's it but this might be back in R/S/E >_>

yeah I went into a time machine back into R/S/E so Super Power and X-Scissor didn't exist, my bad

I thought you're talking about Scizor having choice scarf when it came to vs Magnezone though, and if so that's totally different from the swords dance set so you're talking about two different things :\

My memory on these games is rapidly deterioating though that's what I meant. Nothing except the Regis had Superpower back in R/S/E, right?
Actually wait, Platinum too? I never paid attention to Platinum's release so anything added after Diamond/Pearl I'd be clueless about.

uhh hello Swampert is where its at. It's only weak to grass and can learn hella good moves.

Sabelye is good to since it has no weaknesses.

Electivire is by far one of the greatest. It can learn pretty much every single TM, including psychic. mine is level 100 and knows Fire Punch, Psychic, Thunderpunch, and Earthquake. And its got maxed out speed.

swampert's a rather fine bulky water

sableye's stats are horrid, spiritomb is superior

why the **** would you teach electivire psychic, tbolt/flamethrower/hp ice or grass/cross chop is a better set, etc

can't electivire learn flamethrower

I think cross chop, thunderbolt, ice punch, and flamethrower are the best moves for it

I guess they flap their wings in a manner that decompresses the air around them

and from a game balancing standpoint, I guess to make flying types more worthwhile against steel types since the only pokemon with super effective moves on them were fire/flying types and staraptor
