Just beat paper mario TTYD, spoilers

Pssh I was about to kill one of the bosses when one of those stupid shy guys messed with the stage and got me killed.

Paper Mario 2 was better than the original if you are the kind of person that enjoys reading tons of dialogue. I would also recommend Golden Sun if you love dialogue.

Actually it helps if you plan to do side stuff, so yeah.


Overall, I think PM1 was better.

But that's mainly because the game seems to have better bosses then the 2nd, not to mention more challenge(atleast for story).

I also didn't like alot of PM2's characters very much. Although Vivian was awesome though.

Although, PM2's battle system is way better and the music is also way better.

But Final Boss theme in PM1 kicked the **** out of alot of themes in PM2.

if you think PM was challenging, play SMRPG.

freaking isometric 3D maze puzzle in a ship underwater...freaking impossible

I actually thought alot of the dialogue was pretty good.

Very humorous and just plain good.


Yes sir dude sir dude due sir sir dude grodus, etc was my favorite part.


Alot of what Rawk Hawk said was also grand.

I don't think it's challenging, but it was more challenging then PM2.

Also SMRPG was even easier then PM1. The only real good boss fight or challenging one for that matter, was Culex.

Maybe the Green Cloud and Martial Arts master too. They weren't that hard, but they were certainly fun.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but to back-up your opinion, take Zelda II for example, it was VERY different than it's original game but still kept some elements that made it very much part of the series.

I was on the edge of my seat for most of the dialogue of both games, and I hate to read in my games. So that just proves how powerful the games are.

Also, the demon possessing peach was kinda dark dontcha think?

I thought it was a bit generic to be honest.
