Yeah, that's one of those things I hear and cringe myself to embarassment immediately. I play GH fairly regularly nowadays, and I can fairly say that my fingers have been a lot more limber (on my left hand anyway), but finger dexterity =/= Guitar Skills, as pointed out.

And hey, if it doesn't do anything for ya, at least you've got some somewhat alright music to listen to.

Closest thing I can see to helping you actually play is some people with no rhythm learn to be able to keep rhythm.
