They all used roms and not a single one has even been arrested for it.

Seriously, if the game creators cared they would have stopped it long ago. We cant link where to get roms here, but google is your friend.
Edit: By the logic of ROMs being "People get arrested", TONS of sprites on MFGG would be gone.

You need the screen at the exact resolution and colors if you want to rip a sprite from screenshots accurately, which you can only do with an emulator

I'd take a crystal clear sprite rather than a mucky cut and paste from a screenshot.

Seriously, its fine, lots of MFGG emulates, how else do they get ripped sprites on the main site? Just dont post roms on the site.

I think the solution is don't rip any sprites until you get to that age when you realise you disagree with most of your posts in this topic.

Also, I'm fairly positive it's against MFGG rules to PM people ROMs too. People have (rightly, in my opinion) been banned in the past for offering on the forums to PM other people ROMs, so I'm pretty sure there's a problem with using the PM system that way.

Grant, it may be following the law, but remember that the main site is practically made so people do it anyways.
