That's because it will.

A sufficiently long password made of 'random' alphanumeric characters will take weeks to brute force. I don't think the upload sites even bother trying to crack passworded RARs.

it's awesome when you torrent a 5GB rar and it turns out to be passworded

So, they put a password on it, so you take 3 seconds of your time to copy that password, and during that maybe look at the rest of the page. --------------------
