| QUOTE (Xander @ Jul 16 2009, 11:40 AM) | I work for a Software and IT company, and I know from experience that for businesses to switch to Firefox does cost money. Not for the software, but for training and support. Also, Microsoft .NET applications used by business are not supported through Firefox.
Workers hate change, and learning curves cost money.
That said, I think the switch would be worth it. |
then what was the microsoft .net extension they snuck into firefox in a windows update? just a security hole, or did it have a practical purpose?
also, is there really that much of a learning curve between IE and Firefox? the UI can be made to be practically identical.
