Okay so, If Hal Labaratories split from Nintendo

Hal would have pretty much bombed, probably to a greater extreme, and nobody would have ever gotten to know the joy that is Super Smash Brothers.

Hal hasn't actually published many games that I am aware of outside of Kirby and Smash Brothers.

Pokemon Snap and the Pokemon Stadium games come to mind. The Pokemon Ranger series too, and I hear those are some pretty alright games.

So basically your list plus Pokemon spin-offs.

No. They wouldn't want to, they don't need to, there is no reason they have to, and they would die if they did so.

It would be even worse.

The only games HALKEN really has today (actually, for the past decade or so) are Kirby, Smash, and the occasional Pokémon game. Part of why Masahiro Sakurai left the company was because he was sick of making Kirby games so quickly.

A console is completely out of the question, and dangerous.

They made most of the Kirby games, and Mother 3. Or, they were at least part of them.
