The Hunt for Purple October, one of very few RPGS-coming to MFGG soon

first off some screenshots, then I'll explain-





so basically, its the fourth installment of the Mario and Luigi series. While still humourous, it doesn't have the old bright and happy feel of the old games, considering that there is doom around every turn. I took the classic Mario RPG route of having to collect seven things, in this case, mystical objects called Power Stones. The reason the game is called hunt for Purple October is because the Shroobs possess the last Power Stone, known as the Purple October stone. It is the most powerful of the seven stones.

I'm not going to give away any more story details until release, but i will tell you that this game is chockfull of MFGG cameos, like the Thunder Dragon statue gag and Chuckola Colas named after members. If you would like a cameo yourself, send me some sprites and I'll work you in somehow.

also, here is a list of the credits so far, just so you can take a peek(yeah i know there's a lot, but whatcha gonna do? I don't have any spriting/editing/ripping experience and I don't plan on ripping)

I meant the cliche name you have at the moment.

To be honest with you, nothing about your game seems new or interesting at all, gameplay or storywise, and I probably won't even play it.

as far as I know its the only thing to use a Hunt for _ October name since the real Hunt for Red October

but if i change the plot drastically(which i may do) I have other names in the works. I may just give it a completely useless name that has nothing to do with the game itself.

I'm tellin ya, if you're calling it this, you NEED to have the Shroobs control a large purple submarine CALLED the Purple...well not October, do another month, like November, POWERED by that stone doohickey.

Purple December kind of rolls off the tongue...I do like this idea. I'll consider it Monsieur Blackboo!

Also I finished your cameo in the game, you and Pip(Also boo) get to have arguments.
