Level Design Contest
You don't need to download anything special. Your web browser is enough. I tried it in Firefox and IE, no idea about others, but if it works in IE it should work in others. Works in Safari too according to RS.

Go here.
Design a level! Go wild! You have 400 tiles to make your level in.
When you're done, select a background, input your name. Make sure the name is the same as your MFGGer name. Generate a code, then submit!
YOU INPUT YOUR NAME BEFORE YOU GENERATE YOUR CODE.
When you're done, reply to this topic with the image. One entry per person.

Rules
- Mario or a pipe for Mario to enter from is required. He's the third tile on the first row.
- The level should ideally have an ending - a flagpole, pipe, axe, whatever! (Flagpole tiles are on row 3, tiles 1, 6 and 7).
- If you change your entry, edit your post in this topic, then PM me.
- Don't try and **** with the level code - you'll get poison mushrooms.
- If your level contains bug exploits, you'll be disqualified.
- Your level should not be impossible. If there's no exit there should at least be a way to reach the other side.
- (Mario can swim btw , just because these are SMB1 blocks doesn't mean they have to be SMB physics. "Warping" through the edges of the screen, Pacman style, isn't allowed, though.)

I'll give you a month... 20th August it is! DEADLINE REDUCED. You have a week - 27th July start the top x voting. (top x because i have no idea how many entries will be there finally.

Prize
An event badge for the first five winners!
Also, your levels will all be part of my sig.

By the way, the three winners will be voted by the members.
Also, items above ? blocks (and bricks) is the item in that block.

Also I must say this is a rather nice editing machine you have here.
Gridsize is a little small, and I'd like a couple more enemy choices but I'd imagine that'd start using up too much space. Very clever gadget, though.

Gridsize is purposely small :P
and more enemies? thing is, the code i have only permits 16x16 sprites, and Goomba is the only 16x16 enemy in the game (as far as I can see). (Granted, I could split it up into 2-4 blocks but eh)

EDIT: Ffff, I forgot Mario, and I've closed the tab.

Oh well he starts at the beginning of the first small pasageway, it's pretty obvious.

how the heck did you get items into the ? blocks

I glitched your thing.

If you hold the mouse in a certain place in each block, it'll let you put it in the space below.

I also put a bonus symbol on the text line, but it didn't do anything.
