Before I start, I'd like to mention that very few of these games come with instructions, tips, controls, or any documentation to speak of, save for maybe a few credits shoved into game info or readme. Come on people, you can do better then that.
Aerial Mario by MewiskuitA nice, fairly simple game, straightforward and oddly addicting. I enjoyed smashing Goombas together but never managed to fill up that bar at the bottom. Oh well, I'll get to it later.
However, it could REALLY use some sound effects. Just download some generic "smacking" effects and shove them in or something, it's really dull with just the music.

5/10Bullet Bill Defense by FezI enjoyed this, I really did. It played how a game like it should, starting simple to get the player used to the controls and slowly adding difficulty as the game progresses. I played a few times and had some good fun here.
However, the automatic Bullet Bill creation process is somewhat annoying, it would be nice if I could manually deploy them instead, or at least put them on hold. Also it's possible to keep it stuck "around" the mouse at certain positions, which isn't very good.

7/10Dungeon Jumpsacker by MechaBAgain, a quite enjoyable game. It's simple. And when I say "simple", I mean a caveman could do it. A caveman with a really good button-mashing finger, but my point still stands. The high score lists really add on to that "oh man just one more time" feel, because if there's someone I can beat I'm going to try to beat him.
I can't really think of any flaws that I could point out, except maybe the lack of title screen or pause or anything, just "get up and GO". Lots of game here have this but in this it's the most important IMO.

7/10Fat Weegies Plz by SGG and BBI think? I just downloaded the game pack so I'm not sure if that's rightWell...Just the name's kind of got me turned off. But I'll play it nonetheless. It's alright I guess, but controlling Luigi is really much more of a pain then it should be. The "screen flip" could possibly be given a transition of some sort so it isn't so disorientating and the turning could be much faster. But it is clever I guess, and could be elaborated upon.
However, upon going to the second level I found myself stuck wildly bouncing between the walls at the start, forcing me to stop because I couldn't do ANYTHING.
Overall:
4/10Mario and the Mushroom Factory by WolfSkullI honestly can not figure this can out. I can press up to jump at which point I will lose about a second after landing, and I've tried like every logical button but I got nothing.
However, I'm sure if there was some sort of instructions it'd be a fun game. So no rating for you.
Mario's Elastic Adventure by RetroErm...Some adventure? Yeah it'd be nice if it was more then an engine test. It's a great idea. I had more fun bouncing Mario around then I should have, but eh.
...Speaking of Mario, what's wrong with him? Does he have some sort of birth deformations? Or maybe it's because he's been bouncing around so long.

2/10Powerup Insanity by Weston404Ever since E3 I've loved NSMB's new powerups, and apparently so does our good old friend Weston! Just too bad he didn't think this one through too well.
The Bullet Bills are randomly generated, making them hard to avoid as-is. But not only is there a delay between when you're allowed to move, but the WAY you move is random too! This makes it very hard to actually play the game, as every one of my deaths was going down when I needed to jump over an enemy.
Overall:
3/10Blue Star Adventure by Superyoshi...Yeah, this isn't too bad. At this point Super Mario Galaxy's music has been so overused that I don't even want to hear it any more, but that's okay. It has some neat ideas, plays nicely, and has a quite few levels. Good stuff.
I've got to say though, some things are absolutely PAINFUL. The level with the starbits in the star shape was very unfun to do as I ""fell" off the end multiple times despite being latched on to a star simply because I didn't wait until Mario was perfectly still, and I spent most of my time on the boss dying because his little rocket Goombas are difficult to avoid.

6/10Super Mario flight by FlipiberkeThis game is pretty neat, I've gotta say. It can be sometimes hard to dodge the spinies but usually it's not that big a deal. The online high score thing is kind of neat, and adds to the replay value. The character selecting is also a nice addition.
Also

I get this by using "Don't submit". :/

8/10The Mario 500 by RedEchidnaHey, this is pretty neat. I've always liked those Mario Excite Bike sprites, so this looks quite nice to me. It plays just swell but my only main gripe is that at this point button mashing is getting kind of old.
Overall:
6/10Yoshi's Egg Rush by BipOh hey, Balloon Fight. Not sure this exactly fits the competition rules because you can still move left/right normally (Just only while in air), but whatever. The graphics are nice and simple, as is the gameplay, and overall it's a charming little minigame. I did get stuck in a wall once, but oh well.
Overall:
6/10tl;dr: I'm gonna have to give Flipiberke my vote.
also I swear to god if I'm too late I will be sad
