Mario Sunshine GB

Maybe some of you remember this small project of mine, Mario Sunshine GB... What can I say? This is a recreation of SUper Mario Sunshine for the Gamecube with gameboy mario land 2 graphics!!
I planed on releasing the first demo at the Mario Fan Game Expo, and the screenshot below shows the first level of the game (the airport).

The first demo will have:

*Start intro (done)
*Airport level + Piranah Boss (almost done, still working on the boss)
*Two useable nozzles (done)
*An area at the end of the demo where you can try the two others nozzles (done)
*Gb-ised music (thx to yoshiman) and graphics.

And if I've got time:

*Delfino Plaza
*Bianco Hill
*Petey Piranah Boss

So comments and critics are hightly appreciated.

Sorry about that level designing, my computer's dead but I'm getting a new one for christmas. Hopefully I'll finish it then.

So guys if you have ideas to submit of how I should make certains things in 2D or things like that, just write it here.
It's very important for me to see that people are taking interest to my project so if you have something to say, even if it's not much, just say it!!!

you should make it GBA styled, because Super mario sunshine was about the colors.

Ooo, this looks very cool, alot like all of your other games =P

The only thing I can think of is maybe background firing, where holding up and shooting sprays water into the background. This could be used for certain enemies, cleaning walls, bosses, etc. Also, if you were really ambitious, you could make a foreground =O

Hmm, does gb styled mean almost or exactly like a gb game? If it means exactly, there are way too many colors in the game. PSP tells me that in this pic alone there are 22 colors when there should only be 4.

Hello guys,
I've got two news, a bad new and a good new, let's start with the bad one:
- SMS GB is temporary cancelled. The reason is because I don't find this project fun anymore, and I'm bored to work on it. Also it has to many little things that goes wrong with this game, for example if I'd want it to be perfect I'll have to change all the sprites to keep only four colors like GB graphics. So I'me borred and I leave this for the moment. But the good new is....
- I've started working on Superstar Mario again!!!! Guys this project has really got some potential, and so far I haven't see any other fan game as good (for me) as this!!!! I've really put all my ideas to make a perfect fan game balancing between a very good engine (thanx to Djerkil and some coding of me), original ideas wich keep the classical aspect of the Mario series and includs some elements of the 3d games!!!!

I'll post a topic about it soon, but I usually have to bump a lot to keep my topics alive that's why I don't post it right now but guys prepare yourselfes for the biggest kick ass of the Mario fangames's history!!!!!!!
