I played around with it for a few minutes. It runs just fine on my computer, and my logictec gamepad worked flawlessly for movement and camera. It's pretty impressive since 3D is uncommon. It's nice to see you have a few moves in like tripple jump, but the animations need some work.

The "DOF" effect is really bad. At least on my card, the distance is a blur-fest and there's a sharp line between blurred and unblurred. Bloom also isn't very impressive.

If you aren't already, you should be checking the host computer's GL capabilities and either work around features not present or give a nice user-friendly error message telling them what's missing.

I dont mean to be rude or offensive in anyway (plz dont take it in a bad manner) but Shader 3.0? Thats way overkill, I decied to download this just to see what would happen and the answer is pretty straightforward. Since my video card only supports shader 2.0. I find it funny that im able to play this near max settings: user posted image UT III and not get any serious slowdowns.

IMO I think if you want to make a successful game you would want a wide variety of people testing it, yes? Not even the latest pc games out there demand this as a minimum requirement. Im just saying..

I bought the renderer that I'm using, and there's nothing I can do about the shader issue :/

I worked on Super Mario B3D with a poor renderer (Blitz3D), and now I'm using a little bit of an overkill renderer :/

Wish I could find the middle point ^^

CREAVE! We have told you repeatedly, Shader Models are DIRECTX ONLY! OPENGL DOES NOT USE SHADER MODELS! IT USES GLSL! Are you ignoring us or what?

I tried the ctrl thing and i spilled all the yoshi eggs out of the pit lol laugh3.gif

You should put the ctrl thing on the right side of the keyboard. would make it easier.

Good game, but I have a few suggestions:

1. Try making it possible to change direction and velocity in the air(or at least just velocity), it would make it a lot easier to move.

2. Try optimizing some of your code, because even on my laptop(from late 2008) it makes my computer lag(not the game, the actual operating system and every other program)

Just wanted to post an update on the project.
I've been very busy with other stuff lately, but I've got a new character controller working which enables Galaxy style movement, e.g walking on crazy shaped planets and stuff.
Getting more time for the project in a few days ;)
