Favorite Final Bosses?, OBVIOUSLY spoilers.

I was playing Donkey Kong 64 tonight. Finally got 101% after 10 years, yeah yeah. So anyway, I get to the final boss and I didn't remember just how fun it is. It's not really frustrating, but it IS kind of challenging. Cool music, cool boxing theme, just cool all around.

so yeah, favorite final bosses?

Hmm.. tough. All the Finall Boss Battles ive played were too easy or didnt last that long...

Four Swords ADV was my fave i guess. Zelda games had the best Final Boss battles IMO

Jeeze! I don't even know what my favorite final boss is.

I guess the last boss in Bad Fur Day was fun.

I don't pay too much attention, I just beat it and win and am like 'cool'.

Sonic 3 Doomsday zone. Hands down all-time favorite.

Gruntilda from Banjo-Kazooie, Shadow Queen from Paper Mario 2 and Metroid Prime and Emperor Ing from Metroid Prime games.

I didn't like the Gruntilda fight in Kazooie or Tooie.

I loved Smithy from SMRPG. I've never beaten SMRPG alone; me and a friend of mine have played through it, and especially the first time at Smithy (we didn't even have Lazy Shell) was something so intense I still remember it to the very day.

When something takes up 1/2th of the active screen, it literally screams for attention.

Biolizard from SA2 (yeah, the first form. Second form isn't that awesome imo)

Paper Mario 2 is ruined because of the Final boss.

The other bosses were kind of easy, and all of a sudden you face a rediculously hard boss. Kind of spoils it for me. Still makes it a formidable boss.

O2 in kirby 64 was cool. And so was squeak squad's.

The final bosses form M and L SSS and M and L Pit,
Tabuu was plain awsome, kirby 64s boss was intense and fun, the paper mario series final bosses, and last but not least, SMG, super mario sunshine, and SM64 final bosses.

If you said NORMAL bosses, I bet i can list more then 50.

Ganondorf/Ganon in Ocarina of Time mainly because it was a big part of my childhood.

I remember I was SUPER excited about it all. I had the bridge to cross over to the castle up and then I had to leave for school so the whole day I was preparing for the final showdown. I remember climbing those steps, the music getting louder and louder, busting down the door, Ganondorf having his big speech and then we played deadly tennis. Then of course he pukes up blood, you have to escape this big collapsing tower, you make it out only to have him rise from the rubble and transform.

It was just such a satisfying ending for me. I loved the cinematics, the music, the gameplay, and everything else about it. It felt like some amazing movie and was really the first big ending I had ever really anticipated.


I don't do that anymore. I just play games, beat them, and that's it, but that game was different. I'll never forget it for that reason.

also KH2 final boss was awesome

I heard that was one of the worst final bosses in video game history.

I wouldn't know though, I only played TP for about 2 hours before I went and sold it back to Gamestop.
