If I Made a Pokemon Game

More online features! >:( Now for random things!

Mail would have a purpose, you could attach it to a flying Pokemon and have the mail delivered to someone on your friends list. They receive the mail (in the mail box on the PC) the next time they log on to the online features and your flying Pokemon returns to you the day after you sent it.

Local multiplayer connectivity, cooperative features. Double battles with your friends in the storyline where applicable. While you're working through a cave, your friend can send you supplies with a flying Pokemon. Or perhaps you're taking on Team Rocket/evil corporation together, and rather than taking all of them on yourself, your buddy moves ahead to take on the next guy while you're in battle.

And other goofy ideas that don't really affect the game at all.

But only some kinds of pokemon work...
-No legendaries
-Your new pokemon won't evolve

That would be interesting.

Oh and by the way you should be able to trade items without trading Pokemon! >:(

Oh and you should earn exp for making any Pokemon faint! Player's, randomly generated, or otherwise!

You're pokemon grows as it ages.

Here's an example:
I catch a Pikachu. Now, as time goes on, he'll gain exp and move up levels. Time and time again his appearance will start to change. Maybe he gets a bit bigger, maybe his fur will get a little more tangled. It would depend on how you train it I guess.

Also, you can dress up your Pokemon. Not for only contests but for battles.

Customizeable clothing and hair options for the protagonist!
