I have not written it down and I need it. My current computer is on a wired connection so how would I find it from a wired connection?

try connecting to http://192.168.1.1/ or http://192.168.2.1/
one of those shout be your router, and you should be able to view/set the WEP key from there. assuming you have the password and stuff, of course.

they both say "connection timed out"

start -> run -> "cmd"

enter ipconfig and try using the ip that shows up by "default gateway"
