Clarification of ratings and reactions

Why doesn't it work? You can call me or anyone else whatever you want. If a mod caught that, though, you'd probably be in hot water as that's probably considered flaming and that's against the rules. "Troll ratings" and "reaction images" were NOT against the rules.

The thing is, reaction images and troll ratings are restricted to a certain 'insult value'. There's only so much insulting a reaction image or a troll rating (the latter having almost no value at all), so it's kinda sad to see people getting annoyed to the point that they have to be prohibited. Flaming is **** because it has the potential to derail (I know the others do theoretically, but that wouldn't be the fault of the poster), but the other two are perfectly ok if MFGG wasn't so b'awww about stuff like this.

I think what people need to learn is that "trolling" is just another word for "any post that a member doesn't like and reports".

it's utterly pointless to dispute this, i mean, this place is nowhere near as bad as some places which ban you for beating the site founder in super smash brothers.

then why were Ryo and I banned for a joke topic that was planned beforehand on AIM and had no complaining at all period

A misunderstanding on the mods part which which we've already said in the first post. Char knows it was wrong and i'm sure he's sorry for it.

The rest of you need to just accept the rules like most others have, it's not that hard to live by, and they won't change. This topic is pretty spent.
