Or CTRL ALT DELETE and hope that your Task Manager still functions. From there, take a look at your processes, and look for this zone alarm crap in there or something similar. While the processes are closed try downloading the programs they suggested and see if they can get rid of it.

Put in a Windows disk and reinstall over the previous installation (it formats first). You need your product key to install (someone confirm if you can reinstall over with the same product key, I've never tried). Oh, and backup your files first.

And people make viruses to:
- cause havoc
- get attention
- get money
- get personal details ~ money
- make ads
- advertise porn
- advertise other stuff
- cause explosions

i almost think some people make viruses to throw a middlefinger at people who don't keep backup drives
