So... If there's no CCC, what are we gonna do about youtube topics and flash movies, plus just general goof off topics for fun..?

Not trying to be complaining over the loss of it, but I'm mostly just wondering why exactly.

two questions

1) would people who do not have an account on the main site have to re-register?

2) Would we have the same name as our main site account on the new board? If so, would we be able to change our names to our current ones without wasting a name change (or however the system is in the future)?

so wait, the CCC will be gone? Meaning, MFGG won't have another one?


Damn, I wouldn't say that the people who 'contribute nothing' are bad members (otherwise they'd be banned!). I can almost hear a massive mob of users getting pissed off at the thought of that. It's not like the CCCers are doing anything wrong. Yeah, some of them may be annoying or whatever, but they certainly aren't stopping anyone else from helping the cause.

This is... wow. Could you at least keep the current forum viewable, but make it so you cant post in it. Theres a lot of good stuff, and it would be lost forever if you made it not viewable.

There is still some internal disagreement on this and if anyone gives you a definite answer right now, they are lying to you.

The information posted about the main site is false. The accounts are not merged at this time.

I imagine the General Chat will be more casual and if not, then this is destined to fail and become a very boring place.

Data is not being carried over to the new board, so not really.

Current badges will not be transferred?

Badges are probably the only user attribute that WILL be transferred. There may be exceptions for a few badges.

1.) Will this message board be archived just like the previous forums?
2.) Will banned members have a second chance, proven their behavior?
3.) Is the PPP going to return?

This wouldn't work - nobody would be able to distinguish between what is ok to post and what is too casual, so all we'd be getting is the same GC as now since people would be afraid to post.
