ATTN: New forum software

Will the new MFGG have new skins?
The old ones are alright, but some flare and flavor would be nice.

As time progresses we will maybe get more skins, just like it has been the case here.
Somebody has to make them of course.

About emoticons ... couldn't you add more than one set?

I don't think phpBB lets you make skin-specific smilies, but you could always just add lots of sets and prefix them, couldn't you?

ie. :cool: and :mcool: for Pac-Man Cool and Mario Cool smilies

And as I recall, users can still set their own filters, so if they prefer the Mario set, can't they filter :cool: to :mcool: and it will be dandy?

There are a few new skins being developed if I'm not mistaken.

iirc Dex and some others made replacement sets for the mario smileys

Yes, we can filter the generic emoticons with these if the administration decides not to replace them.

Regarding the Game Lounge, are all consoles and games permitted for discussion?

no seriously do you think a general gaming forum would have limitations like that? the idea is to have all gaming chat in one place so the GC doesn't have that stuff
