I'm not sure if it works for you, but right click on the zip file and click the one that says to extract to /<filename.zip> or something, it will create a new folder of the file's name.

Man, this game is AWESOME! I would go so far as to say that it is the number one best game I have ever seen made in RPG Maker. I have a few suggestions on it, though. Don't worry, none of these suggestions are crucial--they're all pretty nit-picky. But I would still urge you to follow them.

1. There are some places where the music needs work. The standard battle music here should really be the Superstar Saga, Partners in Time, or Bowser's Inside Story battle music, not the SMRPG music. Same for the "Victory" loop.

2. The prince of the Beanbean Kingdom's name is "Prince Peasley" not "Prince Peasly". Seriously, why does EVERY SINGLE GAME DESIGNER forget the second E?

3. While we're on the subject of the Beanbean Kingdom, renaming it the "Bean" Kingdom is consistent with the rest of the kingdom names, but it's kind of weird. I think it would be better if you just called it the Beanbean Kingdom, like it was in Superstar Saga. Same for Princess Daisy--according to Super Mario Land, her kingdom is called "Sarasaland", which makes the name "Maple Kingdom" seem strange. I would also change "Flower Kingdom" to "Yoshi's Island".

4. In the Cactus Kingdom, it would have made WAAAY more sense to use the Hoohoo Village Inhabitants sprites for the people, instead of taking the Beanish People and adding stripes. After all, the inhabitants of Hoohoo Village in Superstar Saga were essentially anthropomorphic cacti, so their sprites would have been perfect.

5. Is it possible to go back to the Moon after you clear that mission? If not, it should be. There are few things I dislike more than an area in an RPG that you can only access once (I feel the same way about some regions in the official M&L series--Guffawha Ruins, Chucklehuck Woods Underground, the Shroob Mother Ship, etc.)

6. You ought to change the name of the currency from "gold" to "coins".

7. There's a line in this game that kind of bugs me:

QUOTE ("Manor T.")
"Ah, Mushroom Kingdom politics! It's so confusing I'm not even sure we use our political system anymore. After all, this is a monarchy..."

Technically, even monarchies are still a "political system". I think that quote ought to be reworded...maybe Manor T. could say "I'm not even sure it matters who wins the election this year..." or something like that.

Other than those small things, I love your game! But can you please please please please PLEASE fix at least some of the stuff I mentioned?

Thanks for comments and critiques. I'm not sure when an update is coming out though.

1. We were aware of the other music choices but we still chose to use those two for battle. I thought music selection was a strong point in the game, but that's just my opinnion.

2. Yeah, we realized that sometime later but never got around to changing it.

3.I suppose Beanbean would have been better, but the other kingdoms were like that because all the kingdoms had a plant name.

4.I wanted to use them, but I couldn't find the sprites for them until way later in the development process. I never got back around to changing them.

5. No, it's not possible to go back. We felt like acting like Square Enix in one instance during the game.

6.Yeah....

7. I guess that's a little weird.

You do know that mushrooms aren't plants, right?

But I won't quibble. Thanks for your response!
