After using a new version of word to write an essay, it was a lot harder to use than the oder versions like W95 and W98 versions of Microsoft Office. I personally prfer wordpad, because it can do everything Word can do, except it's alot simpler without the extra stuff like the fancy title art tool.

So what's your opinion?

MSWord (I think 2003) for doing essays and such, wordpad for storing little notes or something.

Out of those two choices I pick Microsoft Word but I keep a lot of stuff in Notepad.

hell, even some come with a similar program (to portable apps) installed on the flash drive to begin with, so you can have open office from the start.
