I like the general design. Only problem is that you pillow shaded them.

true wells im putting my best into all my sprites but i will add more sprites and expect some spritesheets and tilesets im making them for my game i might make named super mario dreamland but jeas i made more sprites though what you guys think so far

These need some work,
As everyone has said here that they are too pillowed and it does
need a light source, the potion makes an exception because
it has no light source,
just keep working on the light source and you'll be fine.

Hey those are pretty good I like them, all though it's a litle bit to dark on some of them.

ok guys i fixed some items and even made some new ones im trying to make my sprites look hd so far i guess its good what you guys think so far of these

The black diagnols on the leaves on your ice flower look somewhat unnatural. If you drew them where they looked more like leaves, I think it would look better.

The warp pipe is good, but to be honest, it feels unoriginal, considering like 85% of Mario warp pipes are shaded in that fashion.

I can see that you're avoiding pillow shading, but keep in mind that light sources for most of your objects should be kept consistent. On the vase for example, it suggests that the light source comes from the left, but on your blocks, it tells me that it comes from the upper-left.


Aside from that and some other minor issues, these sprites are pretty decent.

Your sprites seem a bit big to fit into a sprite sheet, although then again, there's not many big sprite sheets to begin with.

Keep in mind however, that your sprite sheet sprites should be at a convenient size for use. Common sizes include 16x16 and 32x32. Your blocks are at 28x28, which for the most part, is a bit harder to work with.

If you were working on a new one, then ignore the first part of this post.

im designing high definition large sprites in the best quality i can make them in i know its gonna be too much for one sheet thats why im a send each sheet by character, stage, etc. so thats why they are very huge but its better that way to me

They'll still be a usable size at least, right? I don't think many people will use something like 75x75 tilesets for example. >.>

pleeeeeeeeeeeeease become able to use paragraphs and periods when you post!


Asides from that the sprites ain't too bad. The outlines are nice and solid. Like it's been said, though, the shadin' needs some work.
