I just roll with yugioh since it's less FLIP A COIN, ____ HAPPENS (unless it changed then I'll probably show interest)

But I always play Limited. (Of course, Pokemon card doesn't have Limited, but it could be played Limited if you want to, I guess.)

Also, the holofoil on the cards isn't even that high-quality. What are you even paying for?

That's not my point.

My point was that they make cards that are obviously broken and yet still print them.

Where is my play-testing? My quality control? Hello.

Yu-Gi-Oh just makes cards successively stronger to trump old cards, thus making old sets more or less obsolete with the exception of a few cards.

What's your point?

Yu-Gi-Oh cards are on average more expensive than Pokemon cards.

Yeah.

I'm talking about how the game is played every few months, not card art. That and you dug up ancient cards.

Changing the game because it was extremely unbalanced and broken is not "variety".

Variety is good. Broken games that waste customer time and money to fix are bad.


On this note, I abhor all TCG's ever and I will never play them.

Uh, hello? Let's think about this in simple third-grade logic:

• You want to play a trading card game. To do this, you must have a competent deck.
• The makers of this game release extremely unbalanced cards that ruin the game.
• Everybody else is going to purchase these cards to strengthen their deck. In order to play the game competentely, you must also purchase at least some of these cards.
• The cards are later banned, ruining your primary means of attack, and are replaced with other cards.
• You must purchase these new cards to use the new effects and powers that were released with these cards, in order to remain at a competent play level.

The company does not "make" you buy the cards; but you still HAVE to purchase the new cards in order to remain any noticeable force in gameplay.
