I might post a GameBoy game some day later, because now I wrote a program in Gforth to compile into GameBoy ROM files.
Here's a example program (I just wrote it to test if it was working correctly): | CODE | \ This file is an example program to compile into a GameBoy file. \ Push buttons to show blocks on screen.
-HEADER- S" GameForth Test" -TITLE-
-BODY- -NAME- ASCII.DAT S" ASCII.DAT" -INCLUDE128MONO-
-MAIN- -INIT1- ASCII.DAT -LOAD128MONO- -BEGIN- -VBLANK- -BKEYS- .JOYPAD. -#@- $0F -AND#- $0F -XOR#- .BGMAP0. -#!- -DKEYS- .JOYPAD. -#@- $0F -AND#- $0F -XOR#- .BGMAP0. 1+ -#!- -BACK-
-FINISHED- |
Please note: These programs will not run on real GameBoy, to make it run on real GameBoy you need to correct the ROM headers (the Nintendo logo and the header checksum) after compiling.
