I'd still be qualifyable to be a foreign exchange student so I'd want to do it

so I was wondering if people here knew what it was like or know people who've done it before

i know some kids who went to other countries for school

they enjoyed it but it does have its expenses

I'm not even sure how they pick places and countries and stuff

I've heard that doing foreign exchange for senior year isn't that great because you miss all of the graduation and goodbye parties.

You wouldn't want to go whether your family was there or not.

Topic cleaned and moved.
This for example is a topic that you really shouldn't post in the CCC.

Preaching Christianity (and a number of other religions) in China is an offence punishable by death afaik.

If they are Christian enough to go to China and preach, I don't think they care much about how it would offend people.

Darn, they cleaned out all the good posts...

Hmm, I think that going through an exchange program is an opportunity you shouldn't miss. My aunt says that she'll send me to Japan through an exchange program once I'm old enough.

QUOTE ( TVTropes about... Well... Guess.)
A man who descending into poverty in his quest to have his artwork recognized, joined his country's army at its hour of greatest need and was decorated for his valor. Imprisoned for his political beliefs, he went on to restore the power and prestige of his country, provide housing for millions of his people, and lead the fight against Communism. He is still considered by many to be that nation's most famous citizen.

Are there any countries whose history you have an interest in? Or cultures, perhaps?
