Sprite Request?

I am trying to make a Luigi fan-game in the M&L style. Now, I'm new to the forums, so I know I have no credibility with any of you. I fully acknowledge that fact. I also have nothing tangible to show for myself yet, which I know will severely limit my chances of receiving help at this time.

I do have a game making program, and I am currently editing and compiling the tilesets to start making something visible. I have a plot formulated, and I also have most of my sprites compiled or within easy reach, except for a few custom characters. This wouldn't be a problem, if I knew how to do more than just recolor or follow a template. Thus this post.

Before I post what I need, I just want to know if anyone would be willing to sprite a M&L-style battle/overworld sprite sheet for at least one character. If I still need more evidence, I'll come back later. I just figured I'd ask to see if anyone would want to get a jump-start on it.

If the plot would count as something tangible, anyone who is possibly interested can message me and I can give them a summary. I don't want to post the whole thing on the boards, mainly because I want to try and keep it as secret as possible.

I know my chances are slim, but I figure it couldn't hurt to ask. I will say that I have no intention of dropping this, and once I start something, it usually consumes me until I finish it. Thanks for your time, and I hope I get some replies.

If you really want anyone to consider this, you need to have at least something about the game posted.

Nobody's gonna agree to do it if it would be a waste of their time.

As long as you're coding from scratch, MFGG will be okay to help.

Is scripting from scratch actually a qualification? I don't remember reading that anywhere.

It isn't an official qualification, though MFGG doesn't like people who use engines. Unless you do some heavy modifications to it or only use it as a base to start off from, most people will not like your game.

OK. I will keep that in mind. I realize nothing's going to be perfect, but I won't get better unless I start somewhere.

OK. I kind of expected that. I'll post some screenshots as soon as I have them (might be a little while, but it will happen). Couldn't hurt to ask though, right?
