lets talk abotu music

It's difficult to choose sometimes. I honestly originally had a difficult choice choosing between the Beatles and the Who, but after comparing the two bands and learning about each of them, I concluded that not only do the Who's songs have more substance, but the style of each individual member really hooked me in.

It helps to know about a bands history, too.

Though I can't critisize anyone's taste in music if they actually like how it sounds.

Well, doesn't seem like much will go on, so I'm going to try and go to sleep with sheer force-of-will. You all post so slow, it's like someone played that Inverted Song of Time from Majora's Mask.

On topic, I don't think I've ever been through a music phase. It's video games that do that for me.

So today I listened to an old CD I haven't listened to in forever. It made me realize what I love about guitar. See, I can't stand it when a good soloist makes his guitar WHINE constantly, but this guy took a song that I'm familiar with, kept it very simple, and didn't make his guitar whine at all. He just put FEELING behind it. Chills up and down my spine as I listened to it. :)

The guitar is a very versatile instrument. You can use it almost any kind of music.

Good stuff as long as it isn't twenty minutes long and the same thing for that whole twenty minutes.

True. Unless it's constantly changing it up, I like my songs to max out at about 6 minutes or so. Even RAVE electronica has a tendency to get too repetitive sometimes.


Right now I'm listening to everything Lotus Juice. These guys are incredibly awesome.
