It's like auditory lovemaking. |
That's a good way to describe it. I usually listen to stuff like that when I'm trying to relax. I also tend to listen to acoustic covers of songs (whether it be multiple instruments or just something like one acoustic guitar) in the same situation. This isn't aimed, specifically, at you, JSR, but more at everyone who views this thread: Have you guys ever checked out Andy McKee or Don Ross? Soothing sounds, as well as some upbeat stuff. Don Ross does some experimentation with other instruments, but they're usually just acoustic guitar things and they're amazing! Andy Mckee: DriftingRylynn (makes me cry) For My FatherHis cover of the song "Africa" (If you click any of these links, you really must click this one) Don Ross: Afraid to DanceMichael, Michael, MichaelThe two of them together: Tight Trite Night (Originally by Don Ross, covered by Andy, they both did it together this time) DolphinsI really recommend both of these guys, and especially the stuff they made together.
