Im going to bullet this
-Kirby isnt quite the right shape. Needs to be more round.
-I dont think Kirby has teethe
-Kirby's arm's seem a little bit wrong (shape-wise)

-Shyguy's face is too far from the body
-the overall design of the Shy guy is terribly mishapen. If you used the Y.I. shyguy as a ref, please use a different one. The YI one was a sprite. this is a full drawing.

and whats with the invisible hat?

It seems like you tried to sketch but. . . .it still came out. . .bleh. . . .

If you're drawing official characters, getting references for them would probably be best.

Compare those to your drawings, and locate some errors.

Just a few more things:

- Thing of Kirby's hands more as giant spherical bumps that stick out (at most, 60% of an oval). In your picture, kirby's left (or right) hand seems to be a bit wide.

- The feet on Kirby should look more like half-eggs.

- The shape and size of Shy Guy's arms are pretty different.


Do understand we aren't trying to deter you from continuing to draw. It's mainly to help you improve your artwork. Make sure to check back on your other topics and reread the critiques and such, as some of it that I read should greatly aid you. Especially the post about how you should draw in shapes and such.

Well I was going to try to draw Wario, it was worse that terrible, so I erased it from the bottom to the top, and I liked the hat. So I called it invisable Wario except his hat than I erased the hat and what he said. (not very well though)

Yes I get your point, but this was an old drawing that I liked, so I put this one up.

I think that, on top of the quality of your work, you need some better screening on what goes on MFGG and what doesn't.

Try comparing the drawing you want to post with whatever else in on the arts board at the moment and see if it's up to snuff.

I don't think Kirby has ears.

The main problem for me is Kirby's shape... Looks like a blob as opposed to a circular puffball. But that isn't the only thing wrong with it, it needs a lot of work.

Well compared to your other stuff I can honestly say that you are starting to slightly improve.

Err, the shaping is pretty bad, wouldn't have thought it was kirby if you hadn't said so. Also the mask is very weird on the shyguy. Really, you just have shaping issues, work on that, use references, etc. I like the goomba though.

Its not ears, thats his hands, even though its pretty bad.

Its pretty good you need color.
