Trasher, Shadsy, and Fungus Beetle are all white because they are members. Shyguy Grey is an orange global mod. Black Squirrel is purple site staff. And Retriever II is a blue webmaster (well this one is known) Techo's green for security ninja of course. PS why are they so priviliged, Trasher and Shadsy I mean! Yep, you got the name colors right.
Trasher helped with the graphics (he made the initial batch of thread tags!) and Shadsy helped suggest some things as well

They still won't read it and you will be even more bothered with complaints than if you would have left it as it was.

Honestly having global announcements replace a forum for news is going to be really annoying, especially when you add in the stickies that are inevitable.
