New Forums, updated info.

Those screenshots definitely look nice, better than what we have now. I wish we could see a few more of the skins that'll be there at launch, though.

Well hey what about those of us who made skins?

You guys didn't bother to ask us for any help. Hell my skin is currently getting modified drastically and I wouldn't have even known that if I hadn't asked.



The skin work might have been much faster and more skins might have been ready for launch if those of us who made them would have been involved but it's no big deal I suppose.

I noticed a percent beside the STATUS

are we using some kind of "THISMANYSTRIKESANDYOU'REPERMABANNED" method, or does the percent show how much longer their current ban is for? (100% means they just got banned)

It is the name of the Lua scripting thread. Lua threads tend to be you and RII *****ing, though not that it's a bad thing in any way! =P

For the launch, we only decided to port a small handful of skins. Afterwards, we'll be working on bringing over other skins/making new ones, so of course you'll be able to help then! But for right now, we're trying to keep skin selection simple.

Mine wasn't ported though, it's being completely remade.

And my offer to help with it was ignored, it seems, I sent images no response at all.

Just because you made one skin that, in my opinion, is painful to look at (No offense, I hate brighter skins) doesn't mean you have to be a sad sack! After all everything is getting updated, not to mention the DSi is more fitting than the DS/DSlite skin.

Why do you need forum specific mods at all?

Why not leave them all global?

Arts Board moderator couldn't really be anybody but Rage. Not only because it's a small name, but because he's been the Arts Board moderator, and also because he is a fine artist all-around.

They are all global. Yoshiman mentioned this earlier.

However, if your moderators are *only* global moderators, then none of them have any particular attachment to an individual board, and nobody will know which moderator to contact to voice concerns of a given board.

Having a moderator "assigned" to a given board, but also global, will encourage him to concentrate on that one board, but will allow him to act if an issue occurs in another board while no other administration is on.

This is much better than just having each moderator spend their entire time drifting over the entire forums and not focusing on any particular forum.
